Deserted Star

Because I often feel lonely and rejected.

I feel so alone

I'm on a deserted star

I try to find a friend

I search near and far

I've been looking for days

Not a soul to be found

Maybe I'm just a girl

No one wants to be around

I don't know why I'm trying

But I still have some hope

I wish someone would find me

For now I'll have to cope

Nobody loves me

I know that's a fact

But now it's too late 

There's no going back

While others are on planets

I will lie here, scarred

Because I live in a lonely place

A little deserted star

I know how it feels to feel rejected and lonely because I have been there.... You have captured the feelings here beautifully... There is a melancholic sadness in the poem that stands out for me.... It's a kind of feeling that makes you feel alone even in the midst of crowd...
