If Only You KnewA Poem by ~Kali~This poem is for the people who think mental illness is us being over-dramatic or "just sad". I hope they will soon realize that it is a suffocating struggle and is very, very real.
If only you knew
Who I am inside If you could hear What's in my mind What would you do? I'm not for sure Maybe you'd try To find a cure For this constant sadness I seem to have Or maybe you'd sit back And merely laugh "Are you for real? This girl's a fake! You'll be happy tomorrow Just you wait." I'm never taken seriously Why does no one believe me? I'm constantly depressed Why can't you see? There'd be no point in pretending You know it's true So why do you think It's something I do? Some people think Depression's a cool trend It's not so cool When you want your life to end...
