Is science a genius driving force in nature? Yeah, probably. Definitely one of them. This is a male-view poem, with the animal watching, searching and hunting. The striking is left out of the confines of the haiku, which adds an extra sense of expectation and tension. The photographic image matches the words perfectly. I like. One little thought : there is no reference to the seasons.
