What would this life be like,
if you were in it forever....

As I stand next to you, holding you tight,
helping you breathe; sleeping with you at night.

As the bells are ringing, and people stand,
you walk with beauty, with the ring on your hand.

As we smile together; this path we have eroded,
the messages sent to us; each of them decoded.

As we die together; I would have it no other way,
lie down, fall asleep, for one last perfect day.
