Nothing, to your dismay

Can’t get out of this place

Though it was your choice

Try getting away from you

I snicker, though it’s true

I've tried to leave me

Looked within too

Turns out there’s more

Life shouldn’t be a chore

You have to feel alive

Which has eluded you
