My Demons

My Demons

A Poem by Karan Savla

As i look in the eyes of the moon,
my path reflects in my eyes crying out to me,
to come walk on it's side.
I have a key in my hand, which i know not where to throw,
i have locked the door, with my demons inside,
who were trying to help me fight,
i now not know what to do,
as my hearts all empty inside without them,
i feel like a lonely star in the darkness of the night,
which is nothing but a mere small dot of light,
slowly fading away from the world's sight,
i wish they were here,
to guide my hand on the reflecting path, which the moon has set apart,
i wish i had never locked you away,my demons, my helpers, my guiding hands,
without you, i will always be upon this lonely path,
standing alone,
looking in the eyes of the moon,
as my path reflects in my eyes.

I liked the thoughts and the good wisdom shared.
"i wish i had never locked you away,my demons, my helpers, my guiding hands,
without you, i will always be upon this lonely path,"
Life is like building blocks. We learn by dancing with the devil and with the angels. I like the flow of thoughts leading to the very good ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
