I hear your voice ecohing in my ear

your voice draws a tear

 

why is it you that cuts me so deep

no blood for myself to keep

 

why do you make my insides burn

why is it you that makes me toss and turn

 

why is it your voice that clears my head

even if i don't know what you said

 the sound wakes what's dead

but the taste of your lips put me to bed
