BURDEN

I feel like such a burden

On everyone I know

Always needing help

Always needing more

I need to get it together

And get on with my life

Forget all the crap

Cut through it with a knife

Stop looking to others

To decide on my existence

Don't want to be a burden

Don't want to be a hindrance

I've caused so much pain

And so many hearts to break

It's time to explain

I feel I'm going insane

So if I reach out for help

When I'm drifting away

Please reach out your hand

And don't turn away

Oh, honey. I'm so sorry I didn't get to this sooner. My hand is here...my hand is here! What an awful thing to feel like, a burden is never what one wants to be. I can relate to the feeling of going insane and wanting some help. I, too, have not been taking my life by the reigns as I should...I don't think we are alone in that. As they say....awareness is the first step....now the hard part begins. I'm here if you need to unload anything, any time. Love you~~
