happy and cool

laughing then crying

I like how clear you are about this metaphor/analogy - used in the title, and clever human parallels throughout. The figures of speech like 'yo-yo mood' are so common now that I don't know if people think about it much, but your piece makes it clear how accurately applied the phrase is.
