Love all of me Not just the parts you can see My fragile heart, still beating in my chest Treasured by its owner, beneath my breast Love my mind, despite its disease When it unravels and I'm on my knees Love my spine, for it's brittle and weak When the pain is so bad, and I'm unable to speak Love me for me, for what I've grown to be Use your third eye so you can clearly see My lavender aura, the peace in my glow My calm disposition, my sweet energy Don't let me be another memory. ~kjl
If we can't love a whole person and condition our love for them depending on how they look and what outside qualities they posses then that love is simply has nothing because love is a free power and it can't be depended on some outside qualities only but the inner aspects of that person too... You said it so well, and the ending line leaves a touching sense in my mind.. We should never let person be only just another memory because of their outside appearance...
Sincerely

The funny thing is, for me, at least, the outside stuff was always most always accepted, it was more about people not being able to handle my complexities, and I do have them! But it's so sad that so many people look only at certain things, ie appearance, money, career, car, etc, when we really should look at people for who they are inside, as that is what really matters. Thanks so much for the wonderful, encouraging words. :) kassie
That is the tragic part. We don't love a person for what they have become, we love them for the image we want to see. These lines:
"Love me for me, for what I've grown to be"
Are realistic and sweet. I enjoyed reading your composition. Good job ☺

I think this is a beautifully written craft. Your asking to use the third eye to see you is interesting.. The third eye gives us the wisdom to see the reality. Very calmly you made your point , well done! The last three verses of the white hit me well.
Unfortunately many people go only for the external things staring with looks money, power and other propositions. It is said that we don't love, but we fall in love. But these days, people decide and plan who to love and how to proceed..
Thanks for sharing this..

I enjoyed this poem. Had a honest tone and wish.
"My lavender aura, the peace in my glow
My calm disposition, my sweet energy
Don't let me be another memory"
The above lines stood out to me. Rare times we allow people in to see our real self and aura. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
