Our Hearts

Our hearts, do we guard them or, as the saying goes,

Wear them upon our sleeve?

 To be easily seen?

Emotion housed close

Or

 Shared giving sanctum to another?

We can but care; we may not try, and then fail...

But as the saying goes;

‘It is better to have loved and lost then to not have loved at all.’

How lonely those who give up on life and on love.’

Sometimes we do lose at love and sometimes we win, for to lose is to build character even Love has a character of its own, better to know and learn love than to lose and be lonely.
