Angelic Hands

Fly down to keep a' hold of me.

If he is watching over me tonight
What is it that he can see?
Can he see my horrible flaws?
Or my rising journeys?

Has he seen the times when I cried
The times I wished he were still alive
The times I fell to the floor in misery
Or the times I struggled to survive.

Has he been holding out a hand to me all this way
Making sure everyday I can make it?
Breathing on my shoulder for extra support
Because he doesn't believe I could take it?

When I traveled along the wrong road
Did he switch me in the other direction?
Since nobody else was around to help
Or give me a helping correction?

When I almost flew over the bridge in my car
was he the one who forced on the brake?
Showing me I have more of my life to live
And that it would have been a mistake?

Is he the one calming me down
When I want to hit her with her own bottle?
Telling me to just move on and sail off
Instealing of turning it into a huge throttle?

If he is the one helping me live
Then I have to tell him thank you
For It changed my life when he passed
But his angelic hands I will value.

thats is very sad ..i can see a lot of hurt here
a lot of bitterness at him..for he was never around when needed
but i see there is still some love felt behind..which baffles me

As previous said reviews, this is a beautiful poem. It actually made me cry, my heart hung on every word. Perhaps because I feel a pain so similar. You pulled this off masterfully. It evokes so much emotion, gratitude, and wonder.
