I Love You, DarlingA Poem by no
I had seen you in a dream,
Or in the parking lot at the store, I just knew it, I have seen you before. I can't remember where, And I don't know why, But you were with me, And that was fine. One day you told me, "I love you, and you should know." I loved you too, But I couldn't tell a soul. I had been cut, wounded, and worn, A few times too many, I wanted to trust you, But I have been hurt by plenty. Darling, I love you, And I think you should know, That I haven't trusted any Since a long time ago. So please, I beg of you, Give me a chance, I love you. But go at my pace, Give me some time, I will show you one day, I will show you this rhyme. © 2014 no |
