I am merely a shadow 

A dark silloett 

I am nothing really 

A follower, you might call me 

I would be nothing without you though 

For you give me life 

But, when the sun goes down,

I'm no longer seen 

For I am just shadow 

And when the sun rises 

We meet again 

For you give me life 

Because I would be nothing, 

Nothing without you
