A humorless smile,

A single stolen moment,

Brief precious seconds,

I'd hold you close,

Cradle your heart,

Kill it with kisses,

We'd never part.

But that can't happen,

It just won't be.

Our lives always separate,

Yet I watch from afar,

Yearn for your touch.
