I'm living for the moments
The in betweens
When it can be me and you
The grains in the glass
The sand slipping through
I see you reflected
Just an image,
Never the real thing
A ghost to hold,
A shade to warm my soul
Where am I when I'm not with you?
Where are you when you're not with me?
Where can we be together?
Your eyes speak to my heart
Do I read them right?
Or am I all wrong?
My insides twist
My brain spins
I'm lost in longing for you
Lost in the in betweens
Where it can be you and me
