And She Loved

And She Loved

A Poem by kellstersheartsalsa
"

Second attempt...

"

Eyes upturned to his

Never blinking

Never ceasing

To wander further into the labyrinth

That was his soul

A hideous creature

Ravenous, rotting flesh caught between

His razor-like teeth

A visage of hell

And yet,

Staring into those eyes

That had ripped her being from within

And devoured it

A vulture tearing apart a dove

Never blinking

Never ceasing

that's really awesome. i like the way the title isn't actually a line from the poem, more like part of it than anything else. **hugs**

Very well done! For someone who's new, that's a very good piece. I liked it! Looking forward to reading more of your work.

Wow, a very deep poem wonderfully written. Good stuff! Is this about leaving an abusive person? What inspired this? I know the "vulture tearing apart a dove" all too well.
