Some days I wish this was all done
No more nightmares
No more tears
No more pain
No more wishing you would stay

Laying on the grass I smell rain
The thought of you crosses my mind
The memory of that heartbreak in your smile
As you went out into the snow
It was so cold, so very cold
You did it for me

A thousand of your memories flood into my mind
Your arms around me
The way you blushed
Your loving eyes
Your hand on mine
The sound of your heartbeat
The way you cried
It weighs down on my lungs like a pile of bricks
How did this happen?

Romeo and Juliet, was that about us?
The Ugly Duckling, was that about me?
Hamlet, was that about your heart?
Yes, our feelings killed our love
Yes, I was rejected
Yes, every happiness your heart had died
Is this goodbye?
