Another Play

I hope you never find out...

And I hope you never know...

I broke that promise I made to you, a long time ago

I thought I could keep it...

But depression won again

And I wish you could understand why this is happening...

It's not because of you or my family

It is just because of me 

The way I was made, made my mind crazy

And Please don't start with the meds I take daily...

Because those meds take away my feelings

They change my thoughts...

Switching them with happier plots...

But I will always know deep down in my heart and soul, that I am not okay

Even if I have a smile on my face...

Don't you understand?

It's just a mask from a play

And my role is "the girl that is okay"

(cough, cough)
