A Little Light to Keep you Company

You know those nights...

When you are so lonely, you want to cry

You lay in bed...

And turn on a light...

So you have something, anything

To keep you company 

Because who can you call at two in the morning?

It is not like anyone would care to listen...

They never do

So there is a ninety nine percent chance...

That they wouldn't listen at two in the morning too

So sad, everyone should have someone they can call at two in the morning (my friend ShadowWhysper who lives in Canada calls me when she can't sleep so I can use my hypnotic voice to put her under, it works every time) I can feel the desperation between the words of this poem and I am moved by them and it takes talent to do that to a reader.
