Lucky Bird

i wish i were a bird having wings to fly..

 

 

 

I wish I were a bird,

And just out of your window,

I would build my nest.

 

So every morning

As soon as you wake up,

You are the first,

To hear me sing.

 

And when you go out,

From a place to another,

I fly over your head

To wish you the best.

Then,  when it is time,

For the sun to set

And you are back to your bed

Please, just keep the window, unlocked

So while I am in my nest

I can lift my head

To watch you in your dreamy bed

And I promise,

I will never disturb

But  if that is what you once have felt,

Just move your head down then up,

And you will never..see me around.

The first thing that comes to my mind while reading the portion where the bird unimaginably goes wherever the person also goes screams of "stalker". haha..That's really one lucky bird as you've written as a title. And the person, I think, is a famous one at that. This is a magnificent poem of organized thoughts and greatly-expressed contemplations of oneself. Thanks for sharing!

I adore when you write your sweet side...it is a tender, loving sight in my mind... seeing this little bird looking up from his nest and fluttering through the day watching over this loved woman.. I can't imaged she would lock the window to this gentle love..
