the Sea of Darkness

the Sea of Darkness

A Poem by khalid
"

life would sometimes look as dark as...never known..

"

Into the sea of darkness, I sail

Running from the unknown, heading to..Nowhere

Lonely in a boat, made of worries, painted with fear

Accompanying my bags, piles of depression, others of despair

A weak wave holding me up..then fast deeper by a stronger wave

All the same, If I go forward, or backward, or just stay here

Since darkness is all what I see, silence is all what I hear

All the storms are against..while I have a torn sail

So thirsty and hungry, for days, I had no meal

Oh God! Am I in a nightmare, or is it real?

Shall I never get to the shore?

Why am I here? what for?

What is that big sin, I have done, to be deprived from …the light of the sun?

To be left lonely in such a sea, unaware of what would …happen to me?

what a sea! Where The evil would flourish, while the good, vanish!

And, up till death, I keep exploring the depth, of my dark sea..

Excellent writing, it drove me away in imagination your style in writing fits in novels!

Although I am a daughter of the sea, I believe we must give respect, where respect is due... or else she will claim it.
You have showcased the vulnerability in which we all can fall victim to...
There is a message embedded between the lines... follow your path, have faith, and stay strong.

A Thought provoking, dark write... well penned!~xoxo~

How deep the darkness… I am reminded of Christ. When He & all the disciples were in a boat with a storm at sea…even though they were with ( in my faith) the Son of God..they were so afraid..
Dearest Poet …
How sorrow filled this song…..it encompasses the cries of the past, present, and future, of any soul that has existed… is there no light?.. yes there is…somewhere in the distance.. I pray if this storm is present that it has passed by the time you read my words…
I notice you shaped your poem .. I see a boat with a heavy load..or.. perhaps it is a sail that has been repaired, full of wind….
This is one of your Finest pieces…that I have the honor to read… ♥
