on the spot

my dear

you are so lovely

in the night

i often times am the only problem in this world

the shadows

surround me

as if i am yet an unknown species

to dissect

but

with the wings you gave me

this is nothing

compared to the sirens i hear

in my dreams

everything is frozen in place

i like the way the flow is interuped with the spacing but it doesnt interfear negativly. im not a poet but well done. it actualy helped bring everything together as opposed to making it awkward. it was well written also. :)

it can pretty tough to let a relationship happen when we are too busy carrying the burden of a past relationship...and sometimes we choose to stay in that dark corner than come into the light.
