on the spot

i've overdosed

on something invisible

and now

i can't stop smiling

because of everything i'm feeling

colors 

jump out at me 

whenever the sound enters my ears

i feel so alive

whenever it's playing

a piano

guitar

saxophone

keyboard

these are elixirs

to life

A wonderful write, filled with sensual imagery: music for the ears, colors for the eyes and heart, and love for the eyes heart and mind. There are many elixirs to life, more than just sound and music. Love, abandonment in its own right, life, the heart can be described as an elixir too. Relationships are also described as elixirs as well because they can lift us up just as much as they can break us down.
