on the spot

a life time has passed

and then i saw you 

on the street

looking so lonely

and the moon hangs 

perfectly

over your face

i never felt this much pain 

but you put it all in perspective

and it all makes sense

  why i've suffered

i've been waitingall my life

for you

and i'll kiss you

 when i meet you

No, but, it d-values the way that I perceive my language. It is bad enough that in the writing of poetry, that we have disregarded the use of complete sentences and often incomplete phrasing. We have come to refer to it as poetic license! However, Punctuation, remains key when some is reading a piece of poetry that he/she is unfamiliar with. I do not want someone bastardizing something that bears my name. Periods are only necessary if you have written a sentence. Commas, are king because they give the reader pause to take their breath or enunciate. Poetry is
an art-form to me and to many others. Maybe to you, I do not know , with that question that you asked me? English is my language and it is not an easy lover! I am an excellent wordsmith and I am always learning! And I love poetry that poetry that sounds good and looks good. You asked, my friend!
