I May Need Them

I May Need Them

A Poem by FaeryQueen
"

on the spot

"

I do not ask of you

To tell me this

To tell me

That I can

That I will

That I am everything

I seek for myself to be

I cannot learn

Nor can I teach

I’d rather

Sit, curl myself in a ball and forget

Everything

Why do I do such things to myself?

When can I be happy?

These simple words

As I have said before; penetrate my mind, passively

And suddenly, these words are unknown to me

I cannot remember

Suddenly

I cannot be

Anything that I’ve wanted of myself to be

I only can find

Find

Find

Treasures

That other people threw away, I catch them; mid-air

And I am afraid to throw them away

Afraid, that one day, I may need them

For my own
