Her handbag was in between the both of us and I could not help myself but look inside

 

 

She seemed eagerly in deep sleep

 

 

 

I moved my hands so carefully, poised my fingers so cautiously

 

 

I glided my hands over her handbag just when the evening tea trolley came about

 

 

When she woke, I took a careful look at her and took my hands back to my lap
