~ Apprehensive Appreciation ~

 

 

 

The taste reminded me of so many things that I remembered before boarding the train

 

 

 

My two brothers, John and Jim, they were amazing bakers

 

 

 

I remembered when both of them made a cake for my birthday so many moons ago

 

 

 

I smiled, looking at the woman who ate happily by herself, wishing that only we can talk

 

 

 

When I had ran away to the train station and no one saw me, I felt alone, as if no one were to have cared had I just thought about not ever being alive again

 

 

 

It wasn’t a good feeling to have

 

 

 

I wanted to show her my appreciation

 

 

 

But I didn’t care for making the effort of thinking of ways of how to, so I just stared out the window

 

 

 

She didn’t seem to mind it at all
