I am frozen; you’re not holding on to me anymore

 

 

I giggle to myself; your fingers brush my cheeks, making my cheeks go red

 

 

”Your laugh is intoxicating”

 

 

Is it now, I look up at you and smile, not able to say anything more

 

 

 

I am scared to leave you

 

 

I am scared to let go

 

 

I am scared that if I wandered far from you, you may never find me

 

 

 

I am scared to let go of you

 

 

 

I am scared to love anyone else

 

 

 

I am scared

 

 

 

 

But I have you and there is no reason to my fear

 

 

 

Will you catch me when I cry?

When I hurt, will you be my absorber?

When I am lonely, will you be my company?

 

 

 

 

I have yet to know these answers

 

 

 

“Your love is killing me”

 

 

 

Smile, laugh, throw your head back, repeat, and repeat, again and again

 

 

 

 

 

 

Don’t die, for if you do, I will die with you, and if I can’t and I must live on because it is not my time as of yet, I will keep you in my heart for another eternity until we meet once again
