I am Dagger

I am Dagger

I am uncertain of whether or not this has been expressed in my poetry, but, as I recall; not of late: un unused deity.
My words are knives.
I am scared to tell you what it is I am thinking of.
"What are you thinking of?"
Who, me?
I am usually the one curious, not the other way around.
No one has ever cared what I think of, when they ask, I say nothing; when I tell them, they ignore me: I keep to myself.
But my words are sharp; and like knives, I can cause searing pain.
I am fearful of my power, which is why I turn to poetry in my darkest times.
I am here, so you can listen, so you can learn... this profile, the one with all of my works, these are little worlds in which I come to when I am heavy in thought.
Because... I am no one really, right?
Just a name, a face, a designated place in God's eyes.
