my whole world

my whole world

A Poem by FaeryQueen

my whole world: tell me that the moon spoke to you
that the wind whispered a sweet lullaby in your ear
my handsome man: tell me that everything is gonna turn out all right
coz i’m walking a tightrope
and i’m leaning toward the side
tittering and teetering in my mind

oh what sweet, careless wine.. hapless and tasteless, numbing; like a blind before the eyes

i’ve no intentions to tear this apart
my only regression is doubt
so maybe if i shut- then you’ll shut me out

and maybe that’s not so bad
maybe it’ll last a year
but what becomes of us if you don’t come back
do we just disappear?
