You’ll be 1 years old soon,

And while I’m on the floor of the bathroom,

I’ll watch the time zoom,

Passages of time can be scary,

I’ll look into the bathroom mirror, at my eyes that are weary,

Oh f**k, I think I’ve had enough, watching my eyes get teary,

I need to start popping pills again,

Coz I can’t go on in a pretend,

Acting like everything’s alright- coz it ain’t, do I press send, do I press send?

How long will it take?

For the pain to wash away,

I’m not sure that this culture understands what it means to lose a daughter [or son, enby, nonbinary…  etc.], what are their accolades,
