Siempre

Siempre

A Poem by AKhaus

We cannot be much more than what we are, yet here I am pulling and tearing for more.

The horizons we venture to are long and hard, but when I see the dew of the moon upon your cheeks it all makes sense.

The chilling breeze takes so much out of me, and I feel hopeless in the unyielding, burning sun.

In all this struggle I still climb and I still will reach that summit.

I will find that rock that holds me to that mountain and return home with her in my hands.

Nothing as brilliant as the love of a woman who haunts you in every life.

What is mine is always mine, you are mine.
