twisted

twisted

A Poem by AKhaus

caution on the mind and storms amongst the wolves.
the forest shaking with sounds that only the belly of the beast can cry.
we are under the stones, creeping into the light.
only twisted by the heat and nothing left behind.
stepping softly on the dried leaves blanketing the flesh.
sometimes a slither and sometimes a fire.
the howling trees leading her trail.
