prey

prey

A Poem by AKhaus

the three pillars are before me and I cannot bend my knees to praise such human, divine blasphemy.
beckoned by the doves and the sky above, I fail to bleed such holy blood.
such contemplation I do seek, such sacred words I must take.
vows I desecrate and a love I cannot ever forsake.
how the tumbling tumble down such hills of richly green.
how the taste of heaven seems so ripe within the veins as I bite down harder into my prey.
what regret will remain, ah, but what sins have I left to gain?
such desires toil, as to crack through every single barrier she appears to have made with such quiet pain.
no kisses can she cherish when her passion lay hidden beneath such rapture.
oh my sweetest divine, oh how I wish you were mine but you have taken steps far from me and now I fall and waste away.
lying here limp your finale prey.
