harps

harps

A Poem by AKhaus

I cried, wept strands of my soul and they poured from my eyes.
I trembled when you left me here.
It was just a minute past twenty-two and I realized you were gone.
Harps sounded as my legs failed me.
It's going to be a long time until you save me again.
Days will pass and I will be dragging myself along.
You loved me, you loved me.
No song can remedy this empty.
