I wrote this with thoughts of what a mother might say to her child

You are beautiful,

You are smart,

You matter,

You have the biggest heart,

 

You sparkle,

You’re sublime,

You are perfect,

You’re worth every rhyme,

 

You’re not someone, who is easily forgot

It might be easier to say, the things you are not

 

You are not alone,

You are not unheard,

The notion you are, is quite absurd,

 

I promise to freely give you, all of

My time, my understanding,

And unconditional love
