a friend

a very usual topic of romance, the friend in love with the friend who doesn't see him/her that way. but though it is nothing new, i wrote it to let the frustrations out. this is me and there was a friend...enjoy!

We spend a lot of time together having fun.
We laugh a lot, share secrets, build dreams.
On crazy days we dance and twirl around under the sun,
But when problems arise, we light our dark moments with beams.
We have spent all our lives together forever
We have been through everything anyone can imagine.
We know all we have to regarding each other,
We know our limitations and if someone's out of line.
Then one day, I saw you with some other girl
And something inside me felt funny, felt wrong
I saw you were dancing and you gave her a twirl
Then suddenly, I felt this feeling so strong
I wanted to tell you so bad to ease the sore
I fell in love with you my friend but you love someone more.
