Incomplete Story

Sometimes we wish we had stayed...we wish we had said something....but sometimes it's too late

these are the words I have never said
and they remained half spoken
this is the letter you never read
I sent it a lot after we stopped talking
back then I was still in the shade
and I was too weak to come out
because of my silence you is what I paid
just because I couldn't speak out loud
but now I have the voice
that never came out before
now I'll make the choice
now I'll open the door
will you read my letter ?
will you hear me when I say your name ?
will it make you feel better
if I say I'm the one to blame ?
I'm the one who gave you up
and I'm really sorry
I'm the one who chose to stop
but now let's complete our story
