A True Friend

writing is where I find myself....so I couldn't help but write something to my pen that understands me the most

to the pen that never stops
as long as I'm holding it
even with a few ink drops
when I have something in my chest
if I have feelings to express
it never lets me down
if I have people to impress
it never gets me to frown
tell me what a friend is
if it weren't where my art will begin
tell me what a friend gives
more than I take from my beloved pen
