Desperate words of a bruised husband

Oh, heaven!
Dear heaven!
The worst has happened,
And it’s too painful…

Maybe, heaven, maybe
If I had been a better husband to my woman
 Maybe she wouldn't have cheated 
 Maybe she wouldn't have brought another 
man into our…
ah heaven!


Please heaven!
Give me the strength to survive this.
Give me the strength to control these urges
Of finding comfort inside the bottles of
whiskey
Or worse, in the arms of another lady
Please, heaven, please…


Give me strength to face this woman
 I know she's hurt me, but I want to forgive 
her
For the sake of our love, for the sake of our
daughters!
Heaven please!


Please… I need you
Give me the strength to mend my home
I want us to be happy again
Or is it too late?
