Failed Effort

People say that it's always your fault but it isn't!

Try, try, and try again

words that seem to spin my head

when one fails, its no one’s fault

but their own...

 

why must the subject take the blame

he shale just dwell in pity and shame

 

when first failure strikes 

it stings like a million bites  

but one shall not sustain worry

first try’s never produce glory

 

the second loss isn’t as sweet

one feels like they’re always beat

the reason is simply their own

a inability to get that gold stone

 

last ditch effort to succeed

If it works one falls to their knees 

but by this point you know the result 

and you always feel like its your fault

 

ITS NOT!

That is soooo true!!! So many times I feel like everything is just my fault, but in reality I had nothing to do with the situation at all. The ideas presented are most certainly thought provoking and it really is a good write!!! My only suggestion would be to try and fix the meter so that the poem will flow more smoothly. Great Job once again and keep me posted on new works!!!
