The Fee!A Poem by Thomas FitzgeraldOne must always pay those on their knees!Twist his bones and bend his back, Cut his meat lean and blue, Guide that blade to nix the breast, Lap the blood to come anew. Bristle tips sooth heavy soles, Master whips in lashes bold, Spice the mead with salty sweat, Drink long and hard never fold. Grasp his sack and clamp in vice, Hear his screams as cords get fat, One more tug to pull them off, Now dangle them and feed the rat. Chomping veins and hair alike, Lasting sight sends thrills to me, Binding wax will save for later, Now sit and hurry pay the fee. © 2014 Thomas FitzgeraldAuthor's Note
