Big black creatureA Poem by Katie
I wake up,
Look outside to see aftermath, A storm happened in the night, Walk outside to the feeling of being hit with spray The mist, I look into the distance, Too foggy to see the trees, I see a cluster of black walking towards me, I get shivers, my stomach turns like a roller coaster, but I stay standing there, waiting with anticipation on what this creature is, A beast, The biggest I've ever seen, With its fur running down its body, I clench my fists, tense, It growls, So loud I feel its breath reach my face, Making my hair blow to the back of me, He stares at me, With his big brown eyes, I put my hand out, It sniffs me and knows i'm no harm, It walks away, The black creature, beautiful and misty like the day.
