We Will Still Have Hope

I was inspired when I was in my band class and we were playing "Where Eagles Soar".

They have brought us down with guns and planes.
They have taken away our fathers, uncles, brothers and sons.
They have beaten us down.
We will still have hope.

They can take away our most prized possessions.
They can burn down as many buildings as they like.
They can bomb as many landmarks as they want.
We will still have hope.

As long as there’s an eagle soaring through the sky.
As long as there’s a flag waving in the wind.
As long as the red, white and blue stand for the land of the free and home of the brace;
We will still have hope.
