Goodbye

My hair blows in the wind as I stand on this ledge.
Looking at what is below me.
Ready to be my death.
Knowing all I need to do is take a step to plummet to my death.

My eyes fall upon the sun set in the distance.
It will be my last view at those wonderful colors.
The pinks playing with the purple and red.
Red reminding me at what is at hand.
Reminding me that my last breath will be whispering your name.
Forgive me for what I have done wrong.
I never wanted it to end.
