I'd do anything

I've always found myself helping people, but I'm not always right in their eyes. It drives me crazy because there's nothing that I do for myself other than my poetry. I'm taking a day off to do things for myself. I think that I deserve it.

I'd do anything

 

Just to have my life free

 

Nothing in my way

 

Not a thing stopping me

 

Opening my eyes

 

Feeling no pain

 

No more advice to give out

 

No backstabbing friends to gain

 

A few people have proved

 

That they really do care

 

I just want one day

 

One day to myself

 

To be free from the world

 

Nothing to bother me

 

I will start as of today

 

I'm going to help no more

 

Because just one day

 

Is all that I'm asking for
