Wings

Wings

A Poem by lorretta ruey

At the sight of the feathery wings
My heart begins to sing
They are so soft and fluffy
Like that of a dove so merrily.

Just look at how beautiful they are
Shining ever so bright like a star
See how they fly so high
Leaving their majestic feathers of white.

How I wish to be in the clouds
Wearing that gold, pearl, silvery crown
Playing a tune on my golden harp
Or maybe on a piano.

Look at them wearing a beautiful dress
Having fun in the land of paradise
Worshipping the one who sits on the throne
Living in the peaceful realms of heaven.
