Documented Regret

I hired a minister because when I enter a room, the sinister knots unravel,
traveling to which my brain receives the temptation to give out the day. 
He might show up in your life as a disguise, but what's just a couple of lies? 
At his sight, you would not know that he's aware of my furrowed brow on last years sorrows. There is a mere reservation of openness when one believes they just have so many tricks up their sleeve. How can I fit or squeeze the time when my knowledge of your dislike for me tries me to insanity? 
I cannot pay to handle your demise when I've already paid for my recreants. 
So still in alone while you bask in your renowned throne.

I like the way it starts with weakness and self preservation, but ends in ferocity and independence... I agree about the last two lines, they show the sudden change of spirit. Unique poetry..
