Love Poem (5)

These feelings I have for you

can be so hard to describe.

I'm trying to find the perfect words

to show gratitude that you're mine.

 

I lay in bed at night

and when I can't sleep I think of you,

your smile and your love

that I know will help me through it.

 

Baby, I trust you fully

and I know that you'll always be here,

when your little girl is sad

I know you'll wipe my tears.

 

You're all that I could ask for,

all I want is you to bring you peace

and help you find your joy so that

the depression will cease.

 

I'll always be here baby,

you're the only one I need.

I've always got your back,

I'll always submit (no need to plead).
